Bence’s Biography

Bence is a multiple award winning tattoo artist who specializes in new school, neo-traditional, and the combination of both. He was born and raised in Veszprém, Hungary and showed interest in tattooing from an early age. At 20, he got an opportunity to work at the only tattoo shop in the city. There he completed his apprenticeship and confirmed that the passion he felt from childhood could be directed into a career. By this time Bence was growing a little restless and set off to see the world and discover more styles/approaches for his craft. 

His first resident spot was in Serbia, followed by an opportunity in Germany, before finally getting a great opportunity to settle in at a shop in Oslo, Norway. Bence worked there for three years, gaining experience in shop management and taking in the diversity of techniques from numerous artists who came in and out of the shop. All the while he continued traveling throughout Europe to do guest spots and tattoo conventions; going to places like Finland, England, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and more. He also had a chance to work conventions in the United States and Asia. It was during those trips to the United States that Bence met and became friends with Caesar.

In 2016 he decided to move to New York City to pursue his dreams and settle down there.

Throughout his travels, Bence has had a chance to watch and learn from diverse artists from different parts of the world, each with their own unique disciplines and styles. Using this knowledge and a love of color, he has tailored his own personal style that combines the elements of new school and neo-traditional. His unique style translates into incredible one-of-a-kind pieces for each client. 

Besides tattooing, he always been a huge fan of punk/hardcore music, and spends his time off from tattooing managing his skateboard and clothing brand company, DamnnationSk8.
